洛杉磯台美商會特別鳴謝核桃谷聯合學區為商會的五萬個口罩捐贈舉辦了一場特別儀式。此份捐贈將為該學區在春假過後的開放做重要準備，在超過一年的疫情封閉下我們也逐漸看到了曙光。今天學監與他的團隊為所有代表洛杉磯台美商會出席的人員獻以最溫暖歡迎。核桃學區今天也準備了雨傘作為伴手禮送給儀式與會人員。特別鳴謝學區理事會副董與洛杉磯台美商會副會長葉怡蘭為這次的捐贈所做的努力。

4/1/2021 (Walnut, CA): Today TACCLA was happy to visit the Walnut Valley Unified School District for the donation of 50,000 masks. This timely donation will help in the school district’s preparation for reopening after Spring Break. After more than one year of COVID-19, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Today TACCLA attendees received a warm welcome from Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor and his team. In addition, we were given WVUSD souvenir umbrellas to take home! TACCLA is grateful for the WVUSD hospitality! Makes us want to visit more often! Special thanks to WVUSD Board of Trustees Vice President Dr. Tony Torng and TACCLA Vice President Joyce Tsai for making all this possible! We look forward to a future partnership together!

On 3/23 30,000 Masks were donated to the Walnut Valley Unified School District.

配合第三十二屆北美洲台灣商會聯合總會「一千萬個口罩，一千萬個愛心」的發起活動, 洛杉磯台美商會展開 “百萬口罩贈大洛杉磯” 活動, 以積極作為慷慨解囊，籌措及捐贈口罩到疫情受害最深的角落包括療養院，或第一線警消醫院等最需要的團體

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the 32nd term of the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of North America (TCCNA32) launched a 10 Million Masks donation program to be carried out by its local chambers throughout the US and Canada. In June 2020, TACCLA launched a Million Face Masks program for the greater LA area. The main focus at that time was first responders, senior care facilities and the vulnerable population.

今年為了配合南加州即將重新開放K-12年級校區,洛杉磯台美商會展開「口罩贈學校」活動,期待可以幫助各個學校的教師及學生得到保護. 隨著南加州逐步開始重啟, 教師及學生群體的安危也是應予最優先考慮的事

This year, with the reopening of schools in our community, TACCLA would once again like to give back by launching a new Masks for Schools Program. We are offering to donate masks across various school districts in Southern California. As our vulnerable population continues to get vaccinated, we want to make sure our most precious population is protected as well. The safety of our children and teachers is a priority as we slowly move towards reopening and recovery.
