洛杉磯台美商會展開 [口罩贈學校活動] – 托倫斯聯合學區

洛杉磯台美商會特別鳴謝托倫斯聯合學區為商會的五萬個口罩捐贈舉辦了一場特別儀式。同日值得慶幸的是洛杉磯郡也進入了防疫的橙色警戒線。自去年十二月末始，托倫斯聯合學區已部份開放。直至本週，學區內所有年級已回到校園並嚴格遵守社交距離。洛杉磯台美商會在這個關鍵時刻能夠向學區內的全體師生捐贈口罩與有榮焉。特別鳴謝商會永久會員、青商顧問陳宣瑋安排這次捐贈。

. Today marked another milestone in our reopening process, LA County is now in the Orange tier! The Torrance Unified School District has been partly open since last December. As of this week, all grades are socially distanced and back to school. TACCLA is greatful to be able to donate masks at this critical time. 配合第三十二屆北美洲台灣商會聯合總會「一千萬個口罩，一千萬個愛心」的發起活動, 洛杉磯台美商會展開 “百萬口罩贈大洛杉磯” 活動, 以積極作為慷慨解囊，籌措及捐贈口罩到疫情受害最深的角落包括療養院，或第一線警消醫院等最需要的團體
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the 32nd term of the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of North America (TCCNA32) launched a 10 Million Masks donation program to be carried out by its local chambers throughout the US and Canada. In June 2020, TACCLA launched a Million Face Masks program for the greater LA area. The main focus at that time was first responders, senior care facilities and the vulnerable population.
今年為了配合南加州即將重新開放K-12年級校區,洛杉磯台美商會展開「口罩贈學校」活動,期待可以幫助各個學校的教師及學生得到保護. 隨著南加州逐步開始重啟, 教師及學生群體的安危也是應予最優先考慮的事
This year, with the reopening of schools in our community, TACCLA would once again like to give back by launching a new Masks for Schools Program. We are offering to donate masks across various school districts in Southern California. As our vulnerable population continues to get vaccinated, we want to make sure our most precious population is protected as well. The safety of our children and teachers is a priority as we slowly move towards reopening and recovery.
